According

to the map, CA is just right there.  I lost my ACA map for the final leg of the trip some time yesterday coming into PHX, which means this portion will end my like the beginning of my trip through Alabama - state road map, and a fair amount of faith.

The last few days have been much like my trip through hill country.  Emory Pass stands as the major accomplishment for the whole trip – some 8800 feet climb, almost in the shape of a spine ramp, with descend back on the other side.  I think for the better part of about 2 days I was suffering from elevation issues, plus fatigue – nice to be the other side of things.

Ton of stories to write about from my short time spent in New Mexico – aliens, presidential conspiracies, amazing scenery, and good people.

Cheers, Eric for letting me use your computer (right now…)  PHX has a bad-ass hostel if anyone is curious.

Cheers,
